Testing and quality

Neuro Mind Pro Quality: Lot Code, CoA and Label Statements Explained

Quick answer

We hold no lab report for Neuro Mind Pro. The seller gives a lot reference, NMP-26/GO-4033, and a CoA reference, NMP-4033-26-GO, but they are seller references and not proof of testing. The label image also prints origin and facility lines that we cannot tie to a bottle, so we do not state them as fact.

The short version01

Is Neuro Mind Pro tested, and how good is its quality?

We cannot say. We hold no laboratory report for Neuro Mind Pro, and no certificate we have seen names a laboratory, a method or a result. Quality here means what is printed and what is documented, and the documents are thin.

The seller gives two references. The lot reference is NMP-26/GO-4033 and the CoA reference is NMP-4033-26-GO. A reference is a code. It is not a report, and a code we cannot open does not show that anything was tested. We call both seller references, and nothing more.

This site is the information site of a U.S. retail partner. It is not the manufacturer, and it does not run a laboratory. Read what follows as a list of what can and cannot be checked, and see batch verification for the steps.

What can be checked02

What do the lot code and CoA reference show?

They show that the seller keeps a numbering scheme. They do not show a result. A real certificate of analysis names a lab, a method, a date and measured values.

ItemWhat we haveWhat it does not show
Lot referenceNMP-26/GO-4033, from the sellerIt is not printed on the label image, and we cannot tie it to a bottle.
CoA referenceNMP-4033-26-GO, from the sellerWe hold no report. We cannot see a lab name, a method or any value.
Label amountsFive lines in mg on the label imageNo assay confirms them. Bacoside and ginsenoside content is not printed.
Best-before dateNot shown on the label imageCheck your own bottle.
USP Verified MarkNone seenIts absence tells you nothing either way.

The label image supplied to us is a picture and we cannot tie it to a specific bottle. For that reason the amounts and statements on it are treated as printed claims. Ginsenoside content varies widely between ginseng products (LiverTox, Ginseng), and a plant extract that carries a percentage on the label (rhodiola, std. to 3% salidroside) is still a statement by whoever printed it. NCCIH puts it this way: a “standardized” label is no guarantee of quality (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely).

Label statements03

What about the origin and facility lines on the label?

The label image supplied to us prints “Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients” and “manufactured in an FDA registered facility”. We cannot tie that image to a bottle, so we quote the lines and do not state them as our claim.

Take each in turn. A facility that is registered with the FDA has filed a form. The FDA says it does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements), so registration is not an approval of this product. The origin line mixes two ideas, a place of making and a source of ingredients, and gives no names or documents for either. We found no document that supports them.

The image also prints “Distributed by: Future Now, Lakeland FL 33804, (833) 286-7076”. We cannot confirm that company, its address or who makes the product. The maker is not named on our own materials.

What we do not say

We do not say the product is made in the USA, made in a certified plant, or tested by anyone. We say what the image prints, in quotation marks.

The rules04

What rules apply to supplement makers?

Federal rules set manufacturing practice for supplements, but a rule is not a badge. Following it is the maker's duty, and a page that quotes it proves nothing about one bottle.

The cGMP rule in 21 CFR Part 111 covers making, packaging, labeling and holding dietary supplements (21 CFR Part 111 (eCFR), Supplement cGMP). Another rule, 21 CFR 101.36, lets a label list a blend with one total weight (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR), Supplement Facts and proprietary blends), which is how the BCAA line prints 270 mg for three amino acids. A USP Verified Mark would mean something specific that you can look up with USP (USP, Verified Mark), and we have seen none.

FDA does not approve supplements, and it does not test every bottle (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). Structure or function wording must carry the notice that the FDA has not evaluated it (FDA, Structure/Function Claims), and the label image carries that notice. That notice is a legal requirement and not a measure of quality.

What you can do05

How can you check a bottle yourself?

Compare your bottle with the label image, keep the lot code, and ask the order desk for the document behind any reference.

  1. Check the seal and label

The label image says not to use the capsules if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Read the Supplement Facts and the caution on your bottle. See the label lines.

  2. Write down the lot and best-before

If your bottle shows a lot code, compare it with NMP-26/GO-4033 and note any difference.

  3. Ask for the document

Call +1 (877) 257-0710 and ask for the CoA behind NMP-4033-26-GO. A real one names a lab, a method and values. Judge what you receive.

  4. Look for outside marks

A third-party mark such as the USP Verified Mark is something you can look up with the issuer (USP, Verified Mark).

Be careful with any quality page, ours included, that sounds sure. See whether it is legit for the questions to ask, and the FDA's health fraud tip-offs (FDA, 6 Tip-offs to Rip-offs (health fraud)) for warning signs.
