Is Neuro Mind Pro FDA Approved? What the Statement on the Label Means

Quick answer

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold, and Neuro Mind Pro is a supplement. The label image supplied to us prints the standard FDA statement that the claims have not been evaluated. It also prints a facility line, which we repeat only as printed text.

The rule01

Does the FDA approve dietary supplements?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). So Neuro Mind Pro is not FDA approved, and neither is any other supplement.

That is different from a medicine, which needs approval before sale. NIH's Office of Dietary Supplements also notes that supplements are not medicines (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements: What You Need to Know). If a page tells you a supplement is approved, treat that as a warning sign. FDA lists health-fraud tip-offs for consumers (FDA, 6 Tip-offs to Rip-offs (health fraud)).

The notice02

What does the FDA statement on the label mean?

It means the claim about the body was not reviewed by the FDA, and the product is not for diagnosing or treating disease.

The label image supplied to us prints: “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.” Federal rules require that notice when a supplement makes a structure or function claim (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). The brand's wording, “cognitive function and mental clarity”, is that kind of claim, and we quote it only as the brand's.

  1. Suggested use

One (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water; for best results 20-30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

  2. Storage

Keep away from heat, light and humidity to preserve freshness.

  3. Caution

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and people with a known medical condition should consult a physician first.

  4. Distributor line

'Distributed by: Future Now, Lakeland FL, 33804, (833) 286-7076'. We cannot confirm that company or who makes the product.

  5. Origin line

The image prints 'Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients'. It is a printed statement on an image we cannot tie to a bottle, not our claim.

  6. Name and form

NEUR with a dot grid, MIND and PRO, then '30 Capsules' and 'DIETARY SUPPLEMENT'.

  7. Supplement Facts

    Serving 1 capsule, 30 servings. Five lines, 270 / 100 / 50 / 50 / 45 mg; Daily Value not established.

  8. Other ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule), magnesium stearate. Contains no allergens.

  9. FDA statement and facility line

The standard FDA statement, then 'This product has been manufactured in an FDA registered facility'. The second line is printed on the image; we do not confirm it.

The facility line03

What about the registered-facility line on the label image?

The label image supplied to us prints that the product was “manufactured in an FDA registered facility”. We repeat that as printed text only.

We cannot tie the image to a specific bottle, and we cannot confirm who makes the product. Facility registration is a different thing from product approval, and a registered facility does not mean the FDA has reviewed the product or any claim on it. Manufacturers of supplements must follow current good manufacturing practice rules (21 CFR Part 111 (eCFR), Supplement cGMP), but a label line does not tell you whether this product's batch was tested. A USP mark would mean something specific if you saw one (USP, Verified Mark); we have not seen one.

The same image prints “Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients”. We do not state that as our claim either. See quality and testing and batch verification.

What you can do04

How do you check a supplement yourself?

01

Approval

Not offered for supplements before sale (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements).

02

Registration

A facility line is not a product review.

03

Evaluation

The label notice says claims were not evaluated (FDA, Structure/Function Claims).

Read the Supplement Facts, ask the order desk for the lot and certificate numbers, and ask a pharmacist about your medicines.

Our references for this bottle are lot NMP-26/GO-4033 and certificate NMP-4033-26-GO. They are seller references, not lab proof. FDA suggests telling your doctor and pharmacist about every supplement you take (FDA, Mixing Medications and Dietary Supplements Can Endanger Your Health).

FAQ05

Neuro Mind Pro questions people ask

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold.

What does the FDA statement on the label mean?

It means the FDA has not evaluated the statements and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
